Meteorologist Jim Castillo still in Seattle
Meteorologist Jim Castillo, the former weather guy at KCPQ/13 who left Seattle to do smogcasts in Los Angeles and then coldcasts in New York City, was regular member of the ABC Seattle morning news team and they did not renew him.
Castillo spent three years at KCPQ before leaving in 2000 for KCBS-TV in L.A.
He departed L.A. in 2002 to become lead meteorologist at FOX in New York.
