It’s easy to get involved with the American Heart Association’s National Start! Walking day, April 16th. Just bring your sneakers to work!
Join Jim Castillo and I as we walk through the streets of Downtown Seattle with Ron Sims. We will start walking at noon and end up at Pike Place Market at 12:30pm. Leave your place of work with enough time to meet up with us for the celebration at Pike Place Market.
The Start! celebration will be held next to the info booth at Pike Place Market, by 1st Ave. and Pike St.
Why walk? National Start! Walking Day is a call-to-action for Puget Sound residents to adopt a healthy lifestyle by dedicating at least 30 minutes of their day to walking. For more information visit this link.
