NEW YORK CITY IN UNDER A WINTER STORM WATCH 2/24 TO 2/25- MIX FOR LONG ISLAND
WINTER STORM WATCHES FROM PHILLY TO NYC AND WARNINGS NORTH INTO FRIDAY
In the Winter Storm Watch area, late tonight 2/24 into 2/25 on Friday, snowfall is expected and it will likely get heavy for some areas. A MAJOR storm will bring the potential of significant snowfall in the Watch area, there remains a GOOD Deal of UNCERTANITY as to how far WEST the milder air from the Atlantic will mix into this low pressure system. At this time, Manhattan and points northward and westward will have the best chance to see the snowfall. This can very easily change and will have to be watched hour by hour.
