High Wind Gusts Friday 4/2 in Western WA
The High Wind Warning continues until 7pm for south winds @ 30-40 miles per hour and some gusts 70 to 80 mph for the beaches and coastal headlands as a cold front moves onshore Friday April 2nd. Coastal communities will see winds increase 30 to 40 mph with gusts to 60-65 on average. This is for the entire coast and includes Raymond, Long Beach, Forks, the North Oregon Coast, Olympia, Bellingham and the San Juan Islands. Potentially damaging wind gusts will be possible through the afternoon on Friday April 2nd.
A Wind Advisory is in effect Friday from Seattle to Bremerton to Tacoma and Federal Way for Gusts 30 to 55 mph.
The Warning for the San Juans, Bellingham, Sedro-Woolley, and Mt. Vernon. is for gusts up to 60 mph.
Classic Water Spouts
I was on a boat a few years ago and I had my first and only experience with a water spout off the coast of miami during the Columbus Day Regatta. There was only one spout and it was large enough to scare us and make the water really rough. Here is video of 2 water spouts that formed in the Mediterranean Sea in August 2006.

Last night, on the evening of March 23rd, the snow was extremely heavy in and around Denver. Really heavy !!! The 23rd of March, 2010 started out with sunshine and by late in the afternoon, heavy rain, soft hail(Grapple), lightning and thunder was being reported which quickly changed to very heavy snow until just after midnight. Snow continued through the morning rush, numerous flights, schools, and businesses closed due to the slick roads. The snow is moving into the Texas Panhandle, clearing is in the forecast for Denver.

More Snow for Denver !!! 3/23 and 3/24 Winter Storm Warning
Snow will spread across the area Tuesday, becoming heavy in the Foothills during the afternoon and night, also heavy in the urban corridor Tuesday Night into Wednesday Morning.
Expected Snow Amounts:
7 to 16″ in the Southern Foothills
6 to 14″ in the Palmer Divide
5-10″ in the Denver Metro Area.
Also a Gust NE wind of 15 to 25 mph will cause areas of blowing and drifting snow.
